ABOUT US

FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT, WE ARE REQUIRED TO FORM A GROUP OF APPROXIMATELY 9-12 PEOPLE. WE WERE TOLD TO VISIT A BOY ORPHANAGE HOUSE NAMED SIVANANDA HOME WHICH IS LOCATED SOMEWHERE NEAR THE BATU CAVE. OUR GROUP WINKEE LIM, YANG JING LOO, SUE WEN, ISSAC CHEW, CARLSON KO, BRANDON LIAW, SU BANG ZHENG, QUAH KENG YEW, WILLIAM, DIXON KEE AND ROY LOON.

THE SIVANANDA HOUSE CONSISTS OF 30 CHILDREN ( AGE 8-15). WE HELPED THE ORPHANAGE HOUSE BY SETTING OUT A OUTDOOR FURNITURE USING WOOD WHICH ARE BENCHES THAT ARE CONVERTIBLE TO FORM A TABLE.

THE PICTURE ABOVE IS THE GROUP PHOTO OF OUR GROUP MEMBERS AND ALSO THE CHILDREN OF SIVANANDA HOUSE. WE ARE SITTING ON THE FINAL PRODUCT WE MADE FOR THE ORPHANAGE HOUSE.

REFLECTION

AFTER FINISHING THIS ASSIGNMENT, WE LEARNT TO BE GRATEFUL ENOUGH THAT WE WERE BORN HEALTHILY AND GROWING UP WITH THE LOVE OF OUR PARENTS. WE LEARNT THAT HELPING OTHERS BY NOT THINKING THAT TO BE REWARDED BACK ARE THE HAPPIEST ACTIVITY WE'VE DONE IN OUR LIFES. FURTHERMORE, WE CAN COOPERATE WITH THE CLIENT AND OUR GROUP MEMBERS AND WORK AS A TEAM WELL FROM THE BEGINNING UNTIL THE FINISHING OF THE PROJECT. WE THINK THATS THE BEGINNING OF LEARNING ON HOW TO COMMUNICATE AND COOPERATE WITH OTHERS FOR FITTING INTO OUR REAL WORLD SOCIETY. THANKS TO OUR LECTURER FOR GUIDING US AND GIVING US THE CHANCE TO VISIT THIS ORPHANAGE HOUSE. WE LEARNT A LOT FROM HERE.
